On the day of my previous blog post, I came down with a serious chest infection. When I finally went to the doctors on the following Tuesday, I was a day away from being admitted to hospital. With a strong course of antibiotics and a lot of rest, I’m on the mend.
But this means that I’ve had to give up on NaNoWriMo for this year. The novel will be written, but not this side of Christmas. Instead I’m concentrating on Hex, Nerds Assemble, work and knitting for now.
There is some good news: last week I managed to pass my driving test. I also managed to bake this Christmas cake:
This week, while back at work, finally, I managed to write what I hope will be one of my best marketing blog posts of this year. I’ve also have an article with the Content Marketing Institute going out next week.
So, it’s not all bad. Just not NaNoWriMo.
