I’ve never had a blog before where I’ve mainly written either analysis of media texts or mused on the creation of them.
Drowning in Multimedia is where I tackle the two.
As a creator, I write for many different formats: comics, web, screen and hopefully more in the future.
As a consumer, I read, watch and play a large number of formats.
Yes, it evokes negative imagery, but when you have as many ideas and projects on the go as I have plus games, books and DVD collections of a slightly alarming size – all to the extent that it feels like there are not enough hours in the day to deal with them (sometimes), and have a foot in marketing and PR… drowning seems like the best word.
Yes, I do have another blog here, but it’s become slightly irrelevant to my media focused musings. I’m also hoping that other people might want to contribute the odd post or comment to this blog. If there’s something you want to air your views on (and it’s relevant), get in touch via the contact details below.
If you want me to write about your comic, book, game or transmedia masterpiece (for example) get in touch via the contact details below.
You can find out more about my professional background over at Ek Creations or on my LinkedIn profile (which is in the link bit at the top of the site).
